In just less than a week, apple's i phone has been cracked by a famous cracker called 'DVD jon'. He is the one who cracked the DVD copy protection.

want to use iphone outside US or in US without AT&T tie-up??

Just visit DVD Jon's blog. Download the software from the blog and you are done.
but you won’t get phone service from it when you activate it using DVD Jon's method.
However, you can use ipod/Wi-Fi and access EDGE networks.
